Stephen Mitchell does a wonderful version on the Tao

But I don’t buy his ‘PIETY’ commentary

I don’t think piety is a prerequisite for attunement

The soul/no-soul/neo-soul(ha!)/the universe is adaptable

To altered states, to all states of consciousness

My Tao is a drinker’s Tao at times

Though it is universal

& naught

Who knows how it will evolve?
