phone call received

hipster language creep

  no, everybody, a particular song doesn't "traumatise" we're not in Guantonimo Bay it can in rare individuals trigger a memory of a traumatic event but the death of a singer doesn't "traumatise" a group en mass that's called bittersweet "literally" doesn't mean figuratively English is your only language & you've done 16 years of schooling build up your vocabulary if u have been traumatised ur not gonna bandy it about regardless of whether ur a talker or not william burroughs was right: "language is a virus"

they try to make poetry a chattering class thing when the greats would've all been barred. the 'trigger warning' class say "all welcome" on the sign till u bring in someone from the school o hard knocks then it's all smiles outwardly till next time alone they ultimatum you ex post grad: "we don't like the people ur bringing in here"
